The theory of slots systems is a simple one. The theory is that you can use a system to consistently beat the slot machines and turn a profit. Now, when you are looking at slots systems that are for sale you will be presented with glowing testimonials, numbers, claims and supposed facts that can't be proven and often just downright lies.
The definition of the word theory from Wikipedia is as follows: "The word theory has many distinct meanings in different fields of knowledge, depending on their methodologies and the context of discussion." That doesn't help us much. Let's take a look at some more from the same page. "Additionally, in contrast with a theorem the statement of the theory is generally accepted only in some tentative fashion as opposed to regarding it as having been conclusively established. This may merely indicate, as it does in the sciences, that the theory was arrived at using potentially faulty inferences (scientific induction) as opposed to the necessary inferences used in mathematical proofs." The Wikipedia page also goes on to say that the word theory is derived from the Greek word meaning speculation and contemplation. As you can see, theories are not proven facts, they are speculation. The theory that is often presented as far as slot machines and slots systems is that you can use a system to beat slot machines. This is just not true. The only way to beat slot machines is by rigging a machine, which has nothing to do with a system, it is simply cheating, and illegal. The only other chance you have of being a winning slots player is to be lucky enough to hit a large progressive jackpot. The odds of this happening are infinitely small. So when we buy and use slots systems because we believe they give us an edge, we are supporting the theory that a slots system can be used to beat slot machines. As you can see from the definition listed above, a theory has not been proven mathematically and until someone can prove a slots system works using mathematics, then I would stay away from the theory that a slots system can beat the slots. |
