Stop Loss Slots System |
|
A stop loss slots system is pretty simple. You set the maximum amount you are willing to lose at the slot machines before you start playing and you quit playing if you lose. For example, if you decide that you won't lose more than $100 in this session, then when you do lose $100 you stop playing.
This may sound simple if you have never played slots, but it can be very difficult psychologically. Often a slot machine will seem cold when you are on a losing streak, so you keep telling yourself "just one more spin" or "I have to hit something soon". These are both very dangerous because before you know it you have lost twice as much as you allowed for. In addition, both of these statements are based on faulty assumptions. The assumption is that a slot machine will pay out every so many spins. While it is true that slot machines are designed to pay back a certain percentage of the money put into them, they are designed to do this over hundreds of thousands of spins. It just simply does not work over just a few hundred spins. The Best Way To Use A Stop Loss Slots SystemThe best way I have found to set and stick to a stop loss slots system is to only put the amount I am willing to lose into the machine. I always use a stop loss slot system in combination with a split bankroll and stop win system, but I will only feed the machine the total amount for that session. If it is gone, I will not put another cent in the machine until the next session. You do not have to set your stop loss at the amount of your session. For example, you can put $200 in the machine and set your stop loss at $100. This just means you will have to quit playing when your balance gets to $100 instead of zero. But be advised that this requires a great deal of self control. It is just too easy to keep playing until all your stake is gone trying to catch a good spin. I personally can not operate this way. But there are many who can. Using a stop loss slots system may seem like a negative way to start playing a slots session, especially if you are amongst the positive thinking crowd. However, it is a very important in managing your slots bankroll. You can not play slots for very long unless you have an unlimited bankroll, which very few of us have, without proper bankroll management. |
